Kia Ora, my name is Lee, and I am of Māori descent from New Zealand. I have been living in Canberra for just over two years, where I have continued to build on my passion for supporting others. My professional background includes working with both adults and young people in the mental health and addictions sector, giving me valuable insight into the challenges individuals face and the importance of guidance, structure, and empathy.
Working with youth is especially meaningful to me on a personal level, as I strongly believe they are the future. I am passionate about helping young people develop not only confidence but also self-awareness, particularly when it comes to their behaviours and decision-making.
Through teaching safer driving skills and knowledge, my goal is to empower individuals to become responsible and aware drivers. This goes beyond simply learning how to operate a vehicle—it’s about recognising and managing both good and bad habits on the road. With the number of incidents continuing to rise, I am driven to make a positive impact by helping reduce these statistics and creating safer roads for everyone by sharing my knowledge and experience.
